November Newsletter

Welcome to November. It is a wonderful time to give thanks for the many blessing in our lives. I am certainly thankful for the many blessings in my life, including working with the amazing children, parents, teachers, and staff at Bowling Green Elementary. During the month of November the BGE students and staff will focus on the importance of respect and kindness. The famous author, Roald Dahl once stated: “I think probably kindness is my number one attribute in a human being. I’ll put it before any of the things like courage or bravery or generosity or anything else. This month in addition to teaching and learning, we will spend a few minutes each day during our morning class meetings to talk about the importance of following the Golden Rule, helping others, being a model citizen, and just being good, because it is the right thing to do. The world could use a little more kindness and we at BGE are going to do our part by setting the example for others. Please join us in our efforts to make the world a better place. #MakeITHappen
