Mr. Geoffrey Honan named Supervisor of Maintenance

Mr. Geoffrey Honan has been named the new Supervisor of Maintenance for Caroline County Public Schools. He has been serving as the interim supervisor in this position since July of this year. Mr. Honan brings the experience of six years working for Highway Service Venture, Inc. and ten years at Standard Utilities, Inc. where he owned and managed a multi-discipline service company that served the QSR and hospitality industries around Central Virginia. He also worked with Best Products Co. Inc. as the National Facilities Manager. Mr. Honan attended the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He has a Master’s License for Electrical, Gas fitting, Plumbing and HVAC. Caroline County Public Schools welcomes Mr. Geoffrey Honan as the Supervisor of Maintenance and he will assume this new position immediately.

Purchase a Korean War Memorial Brick for the CMS History Club!


The History Club was very successful last year by bringing attention to the 38th parallel and launching the project which led to recognition for the History Club as well as Caroline Middle School. This past summer, they broke ground on the Korean War Memorial garden located in front of Caroline High School.

Ms. Terrie Haley named Assistant Principal at Caroline Middle School

At the September, 2013 Caroline County School Board meeting, Ms. Terrie Haley was named the new assistant principal at Caroline Middle School. Ms. Haley comes to Caroline from Lynchburg City Schools where she served as a principal at Dearington Elementary School for Innovation. Ms. Haley has two years of experience as an assistant principal at Robert S. Payne Elementary, also. Ms. Haley received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Early Childhood from Norfolk State University and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Ms. Haley will begin this new job immediately.
