Preschool and Kindergarten Registration

CCPS will open kindergarten enrollment on April 16th. Due to the COVID-19 guidelines, we have adopted a process that will allow parents to either access an enrollment packet on the CCPS website or pick up a packet at any of the elementary school food distribution sites on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Once completed, you may email the enrollment packet to the school registrar or drop off at your school’s food distribution site. This is a conditional process, therefore, document verification and student screenings will occur at a later date.

In addition, CCPS will continue with the preschool recruitment via phone. If you have already submitted a Pre-Application, you will not need to do anything further. If your child is eligible, the school registrar will contact you to continue with the process.

If you have not completed a Pre-Application, you can either access it on the CCPS website or you can pick up a Pre-Application at any of the elementary school food distribution sites on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Once completed, email the form to Calandra Simms or drop off at your school’s food distribution site. If your child is eligible, the registrar will contact you to continue the application process. This is a conditional process, therefore, document verification and student screenings will occur at a later date to determine final acceptance of students.
