Good Evening CCPS Families!

We wanted to take a moment to draw your attention to the CCPS 2nd Semester Frequently Asked Questions document for 2020-2021. We have included questions received via email and posed on Facebook by parents, employees, students, and community stakeholders. It is our goal to keep you informed and knowledgeable as we closeout the first semester and begin preparation for our 2nd Semester Return to Learn. Be sure to check the FAQ often as it will be updated on a regular basis.

CCPS School Board wins the 2020 VSBA School Board of the Year Award

We are excited to announce that the Caroline County Public School Board was selected as the 2020 VSBA School Board of the Year for the Commonwealth of Virginia!

We at CCPS are very proud of our school board members and thank each of them for their service and commitment to our schools and community. We will be holding a recognition dinner in their honor at Ladysmith Village sponsored by Honeywell.

Please join us in congratulating each of our board members on this well deserved and distinguished award.

UPDATE: Schools CLOSED for Friday, November 13, 2020

As the rivers and streams continued to rise overnight, numerous roads remained closed or unpassable at this time. Caroline County Public Schools will be closed for all students and staff today, Friday, November 13, 2020. 12 month employees will be on Code 0.

Once again, students are encouraged to use this inclement weather day to review assignments, complete any missing work, and study for upcoming tests/quizzes.

Schools CLOSED for Thursday, November 12, 2020

Due to continued heavy rainfall overnight, numerous roads are closed or not passable creating hazardous driving conditions. Additionally, Caroline County remains under a flash flood warning throughout the afternoon. Caroline County Public Schools will be closed for all students and staff on Thursday, November 12, 2020 (Employees Code 3 – essential personnel report).

Students are encouraged to use this inclement weather day to review assignments, complete any missing work, and study for upcoming tests/quizzes. Thank you and be safe!

R2L Intent Form

CCPS Families,
This is a reminder to complete your R2L intent form! Please complete one form per child no later than November 4, 2020. Results will be tabulated and used to support recommendations made during the November 9th School Board presentation (CMS Auditorium and Facebook Live, 5:30 pm).
