CCPS Celebrates Principal Appreciation Week 2021

COVID-19 Data Dashboard

As teachers prepare to return to the building on January 19th and hybrid students in a February 1st, we are confident in the health and safety measures we have implemented in our schools. However, we continue to monitor and track all COVID related cases within our schools.

CCPS is pleased to introduce a new tool that will deliver current health data of COVID-19 related cases within our schools in one easy to access dashboard. Please click on the link below to view:

CCPS COVID – 19 Data Dashboard

What the data reflects:

Total Positive Cases – total number of Covid+ cases since the beginning of the school year broken down by employee, student and other (visitors, contractors, etc.).

PCR Positive Cases by day– students or staff members who had a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 from a medical professional (suspected or “COVID-like” illnesses are not included) tracked by date of diagnosis.

Quarantine – total students and staff members who were required to remain at home for at least 14 days from the date of last contact with an individual, either through possible exposure within the division or the community or had a lab-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19.

School Operating Status – current operating status of each school based health data. Should a school be required to close due to an outbreak, the status of this school would be updated on this dashboard.

Guidelines and Resources – additional information used to develop the mitigation strategies within our schools and to assist us in the decision making process of returning to the schools as outlined in the Gradual Reopening Approach timeline.

What the data does not reflect:

Individuals who are absent from work or home due to other illnesses or who have an ADA accommodation to work remotely.

Caroline County Public Schools is committed to maintaining the safety of our students and their families as well as our teachers, support staff and the entire community. We hope you find this dashboard to be a useful tool and that it may provide full transparency of all COVID related events within our schools.

Parents and Guardians: Have you created your account yet?

LINQ is our online registration and annual forms system. PowerSchool Parent Portal is our grading, attendance, and report card system. If you have not created accounts in these two systems, please visit our district website to access both programs under the parents tab.

Contact your child’s school to obtain credentials for Parent Portal . With LINQ, you have two options. You can contact your child’s school for an access code or create an account in LINQ and utilize your child’s last name, grade, student number, and birthdate to link to your child.
