Caroline County Public Schools is excited to announce Tammy Wetherington as Pupil Transportation Coordinator, filling the position vacated by Mr. Danny Younce. She began her new position on 9/20/2021. She has served as a bus driver for Caroline County Public Schools since 2006. In 2018, she became a Certified Virginia School Bus Trainer and began CDL and VDOE training with potential drivers, in addition to completing her normal bus routes. CCPS welcomes Mrs. Tammy Wetherington as the new Pupil Transportation Coordinator.
Caroline County Public Schools is excited to announce Bryan Farmer, Caroline native and CHS graduate, as Technology Coordinator, filling the position vacated by Mr. Keith Edwards. He began his new position on 9/20/2021. Mr. Farmer is joining us from the County of Caroline, where he has been an IT Technician since July of 2018. In this position with Caroline County, Mr. Farmer assisted with technology for county meetings, oversaw the transition from a conventional telephone to a VOIP phone system, was a point of contact for vendors, and managed technology day to day operations. Prior to that position, Bryan was an IT Technician for Caroline County Public Schools from 2015-2018. CCPS welcomes Mr. Bryan Farmer as the new Technology Coordinator.
The Caroline County School Board will hold it’s regular called school board meeting on Monday, September 13, 2021 5:30PM at Caroline Middle School.
A copy of the agenda can be accessed on our website under the Division/School Board/Boarddocs tab. The meeting will include our 2021-2022 Back to School Video, a highlight of our CMS Future Farmers of America program, a Covid-19 Data Update as well as other important matters of business.
Reminder: Policy BDDH, Public Participation in School Board Meetings permits citizens to speak to the board at the school board meeting. ONLINE comments were allowed during our “state of emergency” as were online meetings. Please know that all comments at this time are in person.
