CBGS Applications Due 1/9

All applications for Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School are due Wednesday, January 9th, 2019. If you prefer to have a second semester teacher do one of your recommendations, please put a note with your application.

Students Hone Interview Skills

Twenty four students participated in mock interviews at the
Chamber of Commerce in Fredericksburg. Students chose from 22 businesses to practice interviewing skills, with several being offered
jobs.

CHS Honored With Exxon-Mobile Grant

Speedy’s Exxon in Carmel Church, through the Exxon
Mobile Corporation, awarded CHS with a $500 grant to be used for math or science.  CHS will use this year’s money to fulfill needs in the Science Department. Thanks to Speedy’s and Catherine Green for their generosity and support!
