Aladdin’s Paradise Prom 2019

When: Friday, April 26th
8:00 pm- 11:00 pm

Parking Information:

  • FREE parking in the reserved parking deck at 5th & Franklin (look for balloons)
  • Prom ends at 11:00
  • Once prom ends, students cannot wait inside the John Marshall, so have your ride there by 11:00
  • Several school staff will be in the parking deck beginning at 10:45
  • Cars must be moved from the parking deck by 11:30, or they will be locked-in until the next day
  • School staff will sweep the parking deck to assure students have safely exited.

    Directions to parking deck:
    13 North 5th Street Coming down 5th Street from Broad (5th is one-way – South). You will cross over Grace Street, pass the John Marshall entrance, cross over Franklin Street, and the deck will be on the left (across from Penny Lane).  The deck doesn’t really have a name but there is a large vertical green sign that reads “PARK”

Dress code
There IS a dress code for prom. The prom is a formal affair, and participants are expected to dress accordingly.


  •  Appropriate coverage in the front and back of dress
  • No plunging necklines, excessive cleavage, or low cut fronts
  • 2 piece dresses should only show a minimal amount of midriff
  • Back of dress should not be cut down below waistline


  • Young men must wear a formal tuxedo or dress suit
  • No blue jeans
  • Only formal collared shirts
  • No sleeveless shirts


Megyn McCoy Honored By The Women Divers Hall of Fame

MM Honored by the Women Divers Hall of Fame

Megyn recently travelled to Secaucus, New Jersey for a banquet sponsored by the Women Divers Hall of Fame where she was the recipient of a $1000 dive training grant.  She will use $500 to become an advanced certified open water scuba diver and the other $500 to purchase scuba gear.

Attire for Senior Awards and Graduation

For Senior Awards Night
Students wear their graduation robes over the following:
Males:  dark dres slacks, dress shoes, socks. white or light blue dress shirt, tie
Females:  white (can be a dress or skirt and blouse) and white shoes

For Graduation
Students wear the outfit above with caps.  NOTHING CAN BE WORN ON THE ROBE OR HAT UNLESS IT HAS BEEN AWARDED FROM THE SCHOOL.  There can be no decorations on the hat.
