Congratulations to the Cavalier Swim Team for a great meet on January 10, 2020!
Several CHS swimmers placed in their events against Spotsylvania HS.
  • Sean Kenny placed 2nd in the 200 free
  • Dakota DiAscro placed 3rd in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke
  • Damien Smith placed 3rd in the 50 freestyle
  • Butler Frank placed 3rd in the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke
  • Caroline Hale placed first in the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly
  • Kaylin Waldron placed second in the 50 freestyle
  • Ellie Nichols placed 3rd in the 100 backstroke
  • Gracen Kelley placed 2nd in the 500 freestyle and 1st in the 100 breaststroke.
  • The Girls A 200 freestyle relay, consisting of Kaylin Waldron, Jayda Anderson, Ellie Nichols, and Caroline Hale, also placed first.

Great Job Cavalier Wrestlers!

On Wednesday, January 15th, 2020, Caroline High School hosted the first ever double header dual wrestling match featuring the Caroline Middle School team competing first followed by the Cavalier Varsity team.

Congratulations to Caroline wrestling for their win over Eastern View 45-33 in their match. Our 9-1 wrestling team’s next home match is Jan 29th against Mathews. We want everyone to come out and support our CAV Wrestling Team!

The Indoor Track Team Excels at CNU

The indoor track team traveled to Christopher Newport University in Newport News last Saturday on January 11th, 2020. There were over 90 high schools at this meet. The following student athletes placed in the top ten places in their events: Chester Monroe placed 7th in the shot and Zadock Laryea placed 7th in the triple jump. Jaidyn Ferguson placed 9th in the triple jump and Amiri Boddie placed 10th in the shot. Great job CAVS!

The Cavalier Softball Team Hosts A Clinic For Caroline Youth

The Caroline High School Softball Team is hosting a 6-week clinic open for young athletes (ages 8-13). Twenty girls attended this past Saturday.  Both Varsity and JV players helped run skill building drills for the girls. They worked on hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and catching. Clinic days are Saturdays from 10 AM-1 PM at the Annex in Bowling Green.
