CHS Athletics Starting Sports Conditioning Practices

CHS athletic teams can now start holding out-of-season conditioning.   Any athlete wishing to participate must have a valid VHSL sports physical and have an agreement form signed by both the athlete and his or her parent/guardian.  Only physicals dated after May 1, 2020 are valid.  Here is a link to the physical form:
The return to play plan and the agreement that must be signed by athletes and parents are posted below.  Copies of the policy and agreement are also available in the CHS main office.  Agreements must be signed before athletes can participate.
Coaches have a designated area where they would like parents and athletes to arrive, as well as what doors to enter at school.  In addition to parent/guardians checking temperatures at home, temperature checks will occur as athletes arrive at school.  Areas will be marked to promote social distancing.

CHS Spring Production: Gourmet! Misplaced Afflictions

CHS Theatre students wrote their own script and  had planned to perform this creatice piece before we had to separate due to COVID-19. That did not stop the students from producing their show, and they have turned their script into a Radio Show! It’s truly amazing knowing that they wrote, performed, and completed all editing for this show virtually. It’s truly unique.  Enjoy.

Gourmet:  Misplaced Afflictions (the Radio Show version)

Great Ways To Serve Even When Social Distancing

Here are a few #sociallydistancedservice ideas!

  • Draw art and hang it in your window so that individuals taking walks can enjoy.
  • Use sidewalk chalk to write encouraging messages.
  • Facetime elderly family members and check in.
  • Help your mom/dad clean the house.
  • Tell all your neighbors to go outside and sing a song at the end of their driveways.

Lindsey Gorham, Caroline High School Student of the Month

Student of the Month, Lindsey Gorham

Lindsey Marie Gorham was selected for February at Caroline High School. She is president of the Art Club, helped to organize the CHS History Club, and often volunteers at thrift shops. She also continues to maintain a straight A average. Lindsey is putting her artistic talent to use as she completes murals for each department of Caroline High School. The paintings depict a famous person representing that subject, riding on horseback, to honor our Cavalier mascot. She has already completed Vincent Van Gogh and Edgar Allan Poe.

After graduation, Lindsey plans to attend college and major in engineering, architecture, or design.
