Sophomore Aiden Hall wanted to master all of the Microsoft Office Specialist certifications available at Caroline High School. Through his dedication to the GMetrix program, he was able to achieve his Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification. This level of expertise required that he pass the following Microsoft Office 2016 certification exams: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Expert Word and Expert Excel.
Aiden is the first CHS student to earn this advanced certification while still enrolled in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) course.
All staff and parents will receive a Blackboard Connect call in the event of school closings or delays. Additionally, numerous media sources will be used to notify our school community of inclement weather closures: Channel 6, Channel 12, Channel 8, WFVA, WNNT & WRAR, FM 95.9 and 104.5, School’s Out, Fredericksburg.com, and Caroline Alert.
Early dismissals, late openings, and closures will be posted on the Caroline County Public Schools website (ccps.us) and Facebook.
Students interested in participating in the Ride Along Program with Caroline Fire and Rescue need to see Mrs. Drumheller in the School Counseling Department for an application.
The rescheduled fall ASVAB test will take place on Monday, December 4th at 8:00 AM. Students who signed up for the original test date will be called down that morning.
