Josh Wells, OT from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, visited Caroline High School and spoke to the Cavalier football team yesterday. He shared his story of being a walk-on at James Madison University and making the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted Free Agent. He touched on other topics including work ethic and accountability as well as how family and faith are more important than NFL money.
He also answered questions from the players. Josh played high school football at Hanover High, where the current Caroline High School Principal, Mr. Just, was his head coach.
Coach Blackwell participated in a coaching conference this past weekend to continue to find ways to enhance our softball program. This is what she said about her experience at the conference:
“I was able to meet 2019 WCWS National Champion UCLA Head Coach, Kelly Inouye-Perez. I was able to ask her specific questions about the mental and psychological part of the game to help us get ready for the 2020 season.”
