The Autism Society Central Virginia (ASCV) is pleased to offer three types of scholarships for 2018. Qualifying households and/or individuals may apply for any or all of the following scholarships.
- Recreational and Social Scholarship – award of up to $300 annually per individual on the spectrum
- Education Enrichment Scholarship – award of up to $300 annually per household holding current ASCV membership
- Membership Scholarship – award of up to $25 annually per household

Dr. Phelan is the creator of the 1-2-3 Magic parenting program. He will be discussing the six types of testing and manipulation tactics kids use and how to handle them. He’ll also be answering your parenting questions.
CCPS recently participated in a food drive meant to provide the children of Caroline County with ready to eat or easy to prepare foods for when there is no adult supervision in the home.
The CHS BETA Club and the Interact Club worked together to collect 724 food items for this drive.

3 Penny Theatre will perform the romantic comedy “Later Life” by A. R. Gurney as part of RVA’s Acts of Faith Theatre Festival.
Several CHS faculty and students are involved with the production. Ms. Picariello and the CHS Theatre students built and painted a major part of the production scenery. Mr. Ray Carver will be performing, and Mr. Ryan Schuyler will be running the lights.
“Later Life” performances are scheduled for two weekends – Friday March 16 at 7 p.m., Saturday March 17 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and also Friday March 23 at 7 p.m., Saturday March 24 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. All Performances are at the Gayton Kirk Presbyterian Church, 11421 Gayton Road Richmond, Virginia 23238. 3 Penny Theatre will offer an Acts of Faith Talkback with theologians and academics about the issues of faith in “Later Life” after each performance of the play. A play-goers guide to “Later Life” for the Acts of Faith Festival is available at 3pennyplays.org.
