Caroline High School would like to thank Mr. Ronal Sykes. Over the past few years Mr. Sykes, of Sykes Machine Shop in Stafford, has donated safety glasses to the Career and Technical Education department. This year alone he gave 80 pair. The CTE CAVS appreciate your thoughfulness and generosity!!
This event was created to give young entrepreneurs the opportunity to promote, network and sell their products. (Artwork, Jewelry, Accessories, Crafts, Desserts, Carpentry items, services, etc.) Youth ages 5-19 years old will learn the business skills necessary to develop and market their products and services.

Joshua Crawley and Christopher Surles competed on February 23, 2019 at Deep Run High School in was the CAD Engineering Drawing competition at the annual TSA Regional Conference. During that event they competed against 20 plus design students from across the region. Mr. Crawley placed 2nd among all competitors and Mr. Surles placed 1st among all competitors. Both qualified for the state conference, Technosphere, that was held May 3rd through the 5th in Hampton Va. The students competed against the best high school drafters in the state. Joshua Crawley was a state finalist.
On Saturday April 21st Students from CHS competed at the State SkillsUSA Competition in Virginia Beach. Mr. Honeycutt and Mr. Anderson would like to say thanks to: Kallie Shepherd, Lauren Henkel, EJ Meadows, Logan Williams, Noah Bradley, and John Carter. You all did a great job and we are proud of you!
Congratulations to Devin Cassell. He placed first in the Small Engine event and earned $17,500 in scholarships as well as Snap-On tools. Devin has qualified for the National competition that will take place in Louisville, Kentucky later in June. Great work Devin!
