Great Job Cavalier Wrestlers!

On Wednesday, January 15th, 2020, Caroline High School hosted the first ever double header dual wrestling match featuring the Caroline Middle School team competing first followed by the Cavalier Varsity team.

Congratulations to Caroline wrestling for their win over Eastern View 45-33 in their match. Our 9-1 wrestling team’s next home match is Jan 29th against Mathews. We want everyone to come out and support our CAV Wrestling Team!

Both Caroline Middle & Caroline High School will wrestle at Caroline H.S. on Jan. 15th.

CHS vs. Eastern View at 6:00 PM
Two matches for one price.  Tickets are $6.
Students (special rate) and sr. citizens (60 and over) are $3.00.

Cavalier Wrestling Takes Six Wins

Caroline had an epic weekend at the State Wrestling tournament.  Five  CAV wrestlers competed in the event. This is the largest group of competitors since the program reimerged in 2010.  Caroline wrestlers combined for a total of six wins and a 20th place finish.  Topping the event for Caroline was somphomore, James Dosado, as the State Runner-up  with 145 points.

Wrestling winnersCaroline wrestling had a good weekend finishing 6th in the Region.  Seven Caroline wrestlers placed and five qualified for the State tournament.  James Dosado finished 1st, and was Caroline’s first Regional Champion.  Elizabeth Dosado finished 3rd and Isaiah Blount, Pedro Melendez, Trenton Furrow all finish 4th.  Chris Poole and Treavor Beale finished six.  Go Cavs!!
