The Caroline High School Football Team will begin off-season conditioning on Monday January 6th, immediately after school at Caroline High School. Conditioning days will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The activity bus is available for transportation home after each conditioning session.
*In order for your child to participate in the High School conditioning program they will need parent permission to get off the bus at the High School. Attached is a permission form that once signed will be good through June.

The boys’ basketball team played in a King George basketball tournament and won the championship this weekend. The first game was played against Culpepper and they won 40-34.
Jaylen Childs had 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Devin Coleman 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Jabrell Stevens had 7 points and 7 rebounds. Mykia Smith also had 10 points. Jalen Taylor and A.J. Walker chipped in with three assists a piece.
The second game was played against King George and won 46-35. Malik Greer had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals. Devin Coleman had 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jabrell Stevens 8 points and Mykia Smith had 9 points. Jalen Taylor and A.J. Walker had 4 steals a piece. Also Dwayne Parker had 5 points and Jaylen Childs had 6 rebounds. Jaylen Childs, Mykia Smith, and Devin Coleman all made the tournament team for their performance. Overall it was team effort and everyone contributed to the championship victory.
There will be a Uniform Forum and meeting on December 17, 2013, at 6:00pm, to present the findings of the uniform committee and gather public input on uniforms. The information from this forum will be provided to the Caroline County School Board so that they will be informed of the parent and public opinion. The meeting will be held at Lewis and Clark Elementary School in the gymnasium.

The annual Scholastic Holiday Book Fair is coming to CMS December 11th – 19th. The Fair will take place during the day 7:20 am – 3: 00 p.m. The fair will be open in the evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on December 12, 13, and 16.
