Caroline Middle School is pleased to announce the launch of our Eagle Scholars Program for 6th grade in the 2020-2021 school year. Any 6th grader who qualifies for one or more advanced classes, may choose to become an Eagle Scholar.
Students will receive information and intent forms with the first quarter interim. They will be placed in advisory classes for Eagle Scholars beginning the 2nd nine weeks where they will given advise and support from the teacher relevant to the scholar’s work.
During their 3 years at CMS, scholars will learn to research an area of intense interest and complete a capstone project showcase at the end of each year. They will also complete community service and learn what it is to be a school leader.
Some benefits to the Eagle Scholar Pathways includes greater equity, increased access, aligns more with high school frameworks for courses, rigor through courses, rigor and focus on student interest through Culminating Projects.
