CCPS Board adopts calendar for 2020-21 school year

The Caroline County School Board voted Monday, February 10, 2020, to adopt a calendar for the 2020-21 school year that includes:

  • Two-week winter break (3 weekends)
  • Full week spring break (plus Friday before)
  • 3 Day Thanksgiving break
  • A shortened School Day (15min. reduction to the end of the school day)

After receiving input from multiple stakeholder groups and an online survey, the school division’s calendar committee made revisions to the initially proposed calendar and requested approval from the school board.
