Coming up in October, Spirit Week!

During the week of October 15th – 19th, CMS will celebrate “Spirit Week” and we encourage every student to participate in this exciting, school event! Everyday, there will be a different theme for you to get out there and show your school pride for Caroline middle school. The events are as follows:

Monday, October 15th – Sport Jersey/Hat Day

Tuesday, October 16th – Nerd Day

Wednesday, October 17th – Twin Day

Thursday, October 18th – Blue & Gold Day (Homecoming football game at 5:00 p.m.)

Friday, October 19th – Beach/Hawaiian Day

Rescheduled Girl’s Basketball Game

The girl’s basketball game that was postponed from the tornado warning on September 18th is rescheduled for Tuesday, October 2nd at 4:30 p.m. Please come out and support our Lady Eagles as they look to go to 7-0 as they take on the Yellow Jackets of Prospect Heights middle school. The game will be held at CMS in the gymnasium. Please see coaches Harry Mosby, Amanda Roberts, or Timothy Marshall for further information on this event.

The Girl’s Basketball Team goes to 6-0!

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team for coming away with another win yesterday against Walker Grant middle school.  The score was 21 – 9.  The Lady Eagles had a sluggish start, leading at halftime with a score of 9 – 5. The following students were top scorers:  Mykaila S. – 7 points, Lexi B. – 6 points, Mehkia W. – 4 points, and Devynn M. and Ke’Asia B. – 2 points.
Come out and support our Lady Eagles when they travel to Floyd T. Binns to take on the lady Blackhawks on Thursday, October 4th at 4:30 p.m.

Congratulations to the ABCD Teachers

Congratulations! The following teachers were recognized for their outstanding work by going above and beyond the call of duty (ABCD) for the month of August:

Each of these teachers were presented with a special award from Mrs. Wright and the CMS adminstrators at a faculty meeting in September. Congratulations ABCD teachers for all your hard work for the students and the community of Caroline!
