Ms. Guedri’s Class completed and shared research projects on various famous Influential African American Contributors to our society. After presenting, we had a guest speaker, retired school teacher and legend Ms. Brown Scott, who shared her real life experiences growing up and attending a segregated elementary school, and then what it was like when she then attended the newly integrated Caroline Middle School. It was such an incredible experience for us to learn about her real life experiences through the eyes of someone who participated in such a monumental time of our history.
