STEM in Pre-K

The Pre-K students were learning the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty and did a STEM activity to create a way for Humpty’s cousin, Lumpty to arrive safely at the bottom of the sliding board.  Of the four groups, only one Lumpty survived the fall.  All of the students enjoyed the hands on learning.

Anchored for Success

The PTA at MES provided each student and staff member with a new shirt to promote “Anchored for Success”, our theme for the school year.  Mrs. Smith’s 2nd grade class was excited to show off their thanks by wearing their new shirts on Friday!

Back to School Carnival

Join us this Friday, August 25th from 5:30-7:30pm for our Back to School Carnival!  It’s  an evening of food, games, prizes, and tons of fun! We will be dunking some of our favorite teachers as well as making snow cones and much more! $10 Activity cards will be used for games and will be available at the door.

These were fun memories from last year’s carnival!  We can’t wait to make new ones this year! Hope to see you there!

Open House

On Thursday parents and students flooded in to Madison to greet teachers and tour classrooms during the Open House event. Many smiles, hugs, and comments of readiness for a great year were shared and embraced.  MES is anchored for success!
