Today students at MES were given the opportunity to listen and learn about many different careers from members of our community. Some of the presenters included soldiers, dancers, police officers, animal control officers, grocers, community service workers, firefighters, and much more. The students had a wonderful time interacting with the presenters and learning about the different career options! A special thanks to everyone that participated and made the event a success!
The MES Jr. BETA Club concluded October with a successful sock drive. Socks will be given to local charities to help those in need.
Madison Elementary School was excited to show their appreciation for veterans and current women and men serving in the United States armed forces this week. The second grade students held a Veteran’s Day performance where students sang patriotic music and read letters of thanks they had written. The veterans in attendance then walked in a parade around the halls as the students and staff cheered them on to show their appreciation.
