Fourth graders at Madison Elementary became engineers this week as they investigated force, energy, and motion in the STEM Lab with their teacher and Mrs. Schieber. Students explored the best way to design a fast past, safe, roller coaster, using limited materials. All students’ “precious cargo” had to arrive safely to it’s destination! Students collaborated and communicated in groups, thought critically and creatively to design and build, and showed citizenship when the halls for class. The class ended by videoing each groups’ ride in SeeSaw to show parents and enjoy later as a class!
