Madison Elementary’s BETA club has returned from the state convention.  In addition to placing with handmade jewelry, the club placed second in Marketing and Design, second in Quiz Bowl, and first place in Robotics!  Way to go Mustangs!

Cloudy with a Chance of Oranges

When it rains goodness, it pours goodness!
Caroline Promise donated 30+ boxes of oranges to support  our students receiving healthy, happy snacks. This donation also connects to the organization’s 5 Promises and CCPS Pathways 2022,  Goal 3: Health and Safety.
It’s cloudy with a daily chance of oranges at MES! We thank Caroline Promise and their partners who contributed with a healthy focus in mind.

National Children’s Dental Health Month

Ms. Debbie Agnew from the Caroline Children’s Dental Program came and spoke to the kindergarten students at Madison Elementary School in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month. The students learned the importance of brushing their teeth twice a day and how to make healthier food choices for healthier teeth.

Congratulations to one of our second grade Mustangs, Eve.  She was recognized by Del. Buddy Fowler in the House gallery for becoming the first queen for Caroline’s Promise and the first person from Caroline to be a Jr.  Redskins Cheerleader. He gifted her with a VA lapel pin featuring the state bird and flower.
