Anchored for Success

Welcome back Madison Mustangs! Our theme this school year is “Anchored for Success”.  We have our leaders, Mrs. Haley and Ms. Hicks, at the helm of our ship along with a fantastic Mustang crew who will guide our students to higher achievement and continued success. We look forward to our young mates visiting us at Open House on Thursday, August 10th from 4:00-7:00pm. The USS Madison will take sail on Monday, August 14,2017 for the first day of active learning.
Ahoy with Mustang Pride!

Kindergarten Transition Day

Today MES opened its doors to the first annual for Kindergarten Transition Day.  The purpose of the day was to provide a learning experience for students who had no former prekindergarten instruction with Caroline County Public Schools.  Students were greeted by Ready Freddy, a team of  kindergarten teachers, and office staff. Parents attended the event with their child and received helpful information about what to expect in kindergarten, class routines, and they were provided a tour of the school.  Students engaged in reading round up, participated in instructional activities, a tour, and they also took a short bus ride. Madison Elementary had 23 kindergarten Mustangs attend this fun and successful event.  We look forward to seeing all kindergartners and other Mustang learners at our Open House on Thursday, August 10th4:00-7:00pm. The first day of school for all is August 14th.  Mustang Pride!
