Congratulations to the February “CAV of the Month” winners for grades 9–11: Chase Whiting (9th) enjoys participating in the Coding Club and is a member of the Track and Field team. His favorite class is History and he likes the number of diverse activities and the “great learning opportunities” high school has to offer. Riley Forehand (10th) is also a member of the Track and Field team, as well as the Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Swim teams. She loves playing sports at CHS and her favorite subject is Math. Daniel Bissoon (11th) attends The Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School for Marine Environmental Science (CBGS) and keeps busy with National Honor Society, tennis, and Y-Street. His favorite subject is Sports Medicine. The students were selected by CHS staff for being accountable for their learning and success and demonstrating respect, responsibility, and honesty in their actions. Congratulations to these students for their well-deserved honor.
